Welcome to the City of Bandung, the heart of Tatar Sunda or Paris Van Java . Perching on a plateau 750 m above the sea level and surrounded by lush mountain tops, the City of Bandung resembles a saucer with lively downtown right at the heart of it. With a population of more than 2 million, Bandung has become the bustling capital of economic and commerce for West Java. In 1955, Bandung has made another international headline by becoming the city host for the Asia Africa Conference. From Scenic beauty and friendly climate, the various uniquely culture, the shooping and fashion setter, to the great taste of restaurants and cafes. Sundanese art and culture are wide variety and froms; folklore, classical or new age. One should not miss the beautiful local song performed in traditional flute or the melodius Sundanese tune played in Angklung (bamboo musical instrument) in Saung Angklung Mang Udjo. As one of a tourism destination in Indonesia, City of Bandung has everthing.

If you let us know what you would like to do while you are here, we will try help you as much as we can. If you wish, in the time available we can teach you Indonesian language and Sundanese cooking. If worse come to worse and you get sick or hurt then we will do what is necessary, so please feel at ease. We have room for 2 people at a time, so it’s completely all rights for a parent and a child wanting to learn Indonesian language or a couple to stay and relax with us. Through everyday conversation we would like to communicate as much as possible and together I hope we can make it a memorable experience. Please contact us if you wish to try homestay.
